Zawieszanie się systemu podczas kompilacji przez Kdevelop 3

Mam openSUSE 11.1 (i586) i Kdevelop 3.5.3 z płyty.
Za każdym razem gdy próbuję skompilować projekt w C++ Prosty program witaj świecie, nawet gdy nie wprowadzam zmian w kodzie system się zawiesza podczas linkowania przez libtool. Niemożliwe jest nawet zrestartowanie iksów przez CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE. Co zrobić żeby kompilacja przebiegała
bez problemu?
